RSS is a technology that lets you follow the news site easily from an external platform such as your cell phone or a personal portal like Netvibes. You get a list of the latest news with quick access to their content.

To subscribe to an RSS feed...

  • ... from your browser: if your internet browser supports it, you can subscribe to a feed directly from it. Just click on the RSS link and on the page that opens click on "Subscribe Now" (or another depending on the browser). The feed will be added to your bookmarks bar.

  • ... from a portal like Netvibes: if you have a Netvibes account (or another web portal), you can group your various feeds in one page so you can monitor them from anywhere quickly and know the news from all your preferred websites. To add a feed, copy the address of it, then on your portal click on "Add a feed" and paste the address.

  • ... from a Smartphone: it is also possible to follow an RSS feed from a mobile phone, the majority of recent devices with Edge or 3G access offer this feature. To read a feed from an iPhone, for example, use the application Mobile RSS to centralize your feeds.
